Every BLU+ system must be installed by a licensed HVAC technician to keep your warranty. Installation cost is set by the installer and varies by home.

How long is the warranty?

Every system carries 6-year compressor, 3-year parts, and 90-day remote coverage automatically, no registration required. Register within 60 days of installation and the term extends to 8-year compressor and 5-year parts. Full terms are on our warranty page.

How fast does it ship?

Orders are processed and ship within 2 to 3 business days from our California and Texas warehouses. Freight is free and already included in the price, with no separate freight charge at checkout. Transit typically runs 5 to 10 business days after it ships, depending on distance from the hub. Details are on our shipping policy.

Who installs it?

A licensed local HVAC technician handles installation, including mounting, refrigerant connections, and startup. Installation labor is separate and paid to your technician. Arrange installation with them. Orders typically dispatch in 2 to 3 business days, followed by 5 to 10 business days in transit: an estimated 7 to 13 business days total, not a guaranteed arrival date.

What does the price include?

The price includes the indoor unit, the matched outdoor condenser, a remote with Wi-Fi, and a 16 ft insulated line set.Freight shipping is included too, so there is no separate shipping charge. Sales tax is added at checkout for orders shipping to California and Texas.

What if I need to return it?

You have 30 days from delivery to return unused, uninstalled equipment in its original packaging. Non-defective returns carry a 15% restocking fee, and once a unit is installed or charged with refrigerant it can no longer be returned except under warranty. Full details are on our returns policy.

Does this kit come with everything to install it?

It includes the indoor unit, the matched outdoor condenser, a remote, and a 16 ft insulated line set. Your installer supplies the disconnect, electrical whip, and any longer line set your installation needs. These items are not included or sold in our Accessories collection. Line set covers are sold separately.

What size room does a 18K BTU unit cool?

Published coverage of about 700 to 1,000 sq ft is an approximate guide only. Capacity depends on climate, insulation, windows, ceiling height, and layout. Have a qualified HVAC professional perform a load calculation and confirm the system capacity before ordering. Our sizing guide offers additional background.

What refrigerant does it use?

R-454B is the newer low-GWP refrigerant that replaces R-410A on current high-efficiency systems. It is more environmentally friendly and is what our BLU+ line runs. More on refrigerants.
