Frequently asked questions
Sizing, refrigerant, install, warranty, and shipping — answered.
Common questions.
Sizing, shipping, install, warranty, returns. The things buyers ask before pulling the trigger on a heat-pump system. Can’t find your answer? Email info@ngairsolutions.com.
What size system do I need?
Sizing is your installer's job. They'll run a Manual J load calculation, the industry-standard heat-load assessment that accounts for square footage, insulation, window count, ceiling height, and climate. For rough planning, a 12,000 BTU unit typically covers 450 to 650 sq ft in a single room. But don't buy off a rough estimate, get the load calculation first.
Single-zone, multi-zone, or central ducted?
Single-zone for one room (bedroom, office, sunroom). Multi-zone when one outdoor unit needs to drive heads in 2 to 5 rooms. Central ducted (EZ Central) for whole-home replacement that uses existing ductwork. Browse by application or read the full breakdown in our guide.
R454B, R32, or something else?
R454B is the long-term EPA replacement for R410A and runs in our flagship lines (BLU+ Single, BLU+ Multi, BLU+ Star, EZ Central). R32 powers SAJA Single and SAJA Multi as a low-GWP alternative. We don’t carry R410A. The full story is in our refrigerant guide.
Where do you ship from?
California or Texas, whichever is closer to you. We ship across the United States.
How long does shipping take?
Orders dispatch from our California or Texas warehouse in 2 to 3 business days. Transit is typically 5 to 10 business days after that, depending on your distance from the warehouse. See the shipping policy for full details.
What does shipping cost?
Shipping is free. Freight is included in the product price, so there's no separate shipping charge at checkout. We ship across the United States. Alaska, Hawaii, and US territories are not served at this time. See the shipping policy for details.
Who should install it?
An EPA-608 certified HVAC technician. NG systems use refrigerant under pressure, and the line-set hookup is regulated work that has to be done by a licensed pro. Your local HVAC supply house or the EPA-certified-technician lookup is the best way to find someone in your area.
What’s included in the box?
Outdoor condenser, indoor head (for single-zone systems), remote, Wi-Fi module, and a line set on most series. Specifics per SKU are listed on the product page.
What’s the warranty?
Every system carries a 6-year compressor warranty as standard, no registration required. Register within 60 days of installation to extend coverage, up to 10 years on select models. See the warranty page for full terms.
What’s your return policy?
You have 30 days from delivery to return unused, uninstalled equipment. Non-defective returns carry a 15% restocking fee. See the returns policy for full details.
Do you sell to contractors or distributors?
Yes. We handle every bulk and contractor relationship one-on-one. Volume, pricing, and lead time get set per account, not from a public tier. Start a conversation through bulk orders, and we'll route your inquiry to the right person on our side.
